Blue Owl Business Development Companies (BDCs) recently bought back $85 million worth of shares as the value of loans in their portfolios decreased. This move is part of broader efforts by Blue Owl's BDCs to support their stock value.

Blue Owl Credit Income Corp. (OCIC) completed a significant share repurchase, tendering approximately $1.01 billion, which satisfied 100% of repurchase requests and represented 5.2% of its aggregate shares as of September 30. This was a substantial increase from its Q3 2025 tender offer. Similarly, Blue Owl Technology Income Corp. (OTIC) redeemed $527.2 million of shares by January 8, 2026, fulfilling all repurchase requests and accounting for 15.4% of its outstanding shares as of September 30. OTIC's redemption amount marked a 484% increase compared to its Q3 2025 tender offer.

Blue Owl Capital Corporation (OBDC) also participated, repurchasing approximately $148 million of its common stock at 86% price-to-book value by December 31, 2025. This was considered accretive to its net asset value per share. The company's board approved a new $300 million share repurchase program, replacing a previous $200 million authorization. These buybacks occurred alongside OBDC's announcement of December 31, 2025, financial results, which included a GAAP net investment income per share of $0.38 and an adjusted NII per share of $0.36.
