Rufaro Chiriseri, who heads fixed income for the UK and Europe at RBC Wealth Management, recently discussed the current state of Treasuries. She specifically highlighted that 30-year real yields have climbed to levels that have not been observed since the Global Financial Crisis (GFC).

While RBC is generally comfortable with shorter-duration investments, Chiriseri stated that these elevated 30-year real yields are beginning to look much more interesting to them. This suggests a potential shift in investment strategy or at least a reconsideration of longer-term bonds due to their improved attractiveness at these levels.
