JPMorgan Chase has announced that its business and philanthropic investments in Detroit have exceeded $2 billion since 2014. This significant milestone was celebrated alongside the unveiling of plans for a new state-of-the-art downtown office and conference center at Hudson's Detroit. The firm's continuous support aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and community engagement, further solidifying its commitment to the city's ongoing resurgence.

The $2 billion in investments by JPMorgan Chase since 2014 comprise a combination of credit, loans, and philanthropic capital. These funds have been strategically deployed across five key areas to drive progress within the city. This figure does not include the tens of billions in financing provided to corporations headquartered in Detroit, including major automakers.

Key investments include $104 million in New Market Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits. These credits have been utilized to support a diverse range of projects, including educational institutions, critical infrastructure, manufacturing factories, community facilities, and various retail stores.
