Wedbush tech analyst Dan Ives has launched a new Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) called the Dan IVES Wedbush AI Revolution ETF, trading under the ticker IVES. This move sees Ives joining a growing number of finance personalities who are leveraging their personal brands to create retail-friendly investment funds, particularly in the booming artificial intelligence sector. Wedbush Fund Advisers is managing the product, which tracks Ives's investment picks in AI.

The IVES ETF focuses on Ives's "proprietary research" and comprises 30 companies across various AI sectors, including semiconductors, cybersecurity, and robotics. It launched in early June 2025 with approximately $60 million in initial assets. By December 11, 2025, the fund's net assets had surged to over $1.06 billion, reflecting significant investor interest. The ETF has an expense ratio of 0.75%.

Despite its rapid growth, some analysts suggest the IVES ETF's portfolio is not significantly differentiated from other tech-heavy index ETFs. Its top holdings include major tech stocks like Tesla, Taiwan Semiconductor, Oracle, Alphabet, Broadcom, Apple, Nvidia, and Microsoft. While the fund has shown strong performance since its inception, with a 37.67% return by July 31, 2026, some of its early gains were attributed to strong performances by a few key holdings like Oracle, Alphabet, and Tesla. The fund aims to track the Solactive Dan IVES Wedbush AI Revolution Index, which identifies U.S.-listed equities as significant enablers or adopters of AI technologies.
