Accenture and Google Cloud have significantly expanded their partnership, launching the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program. This initiative aims to help enterprises swiftly adopt AI-powered reinvention and generate business value at scale. The program will bring together thousands of AI-skilled engineers, including forward-deployed engineers (FDEs) from both companies, and industry domain experts. Accenture's chair and CEO, Julie Sweet, highlighted that the focus is on deploying AI agents for meaningful work across enterprises, moving beyond AI as merely a tool.
This expansion is supported by Google Cloud's $750 million fund, aimed at its 120,000-member partner ecosystem to accelerate enterprise agentic AI adoption. The fund will be deployed over the next 12 months to help consulting firms like Accenture, McKinsey & Co., Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCLTech, PwC, and TCS. The capital will be used for training engineers, developing AI agents via Gemini's enterprise platform, co-funding projects, supporting pre-sale activities, and providing usage incentives.
A core component of the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program includes dedicated engineering power, with Google and Accenture FDEs collaborating on challenging customer use cases to prototype and deliver industry-specific AI solutions and agents. Furthermore, Google DeepMind, a leading AI research lab, will provide early access to its frontier models, including the Gemini family, allowing Accenture to provide feedback for refinement. The program also leverages Accenture's Intelligent Digital Brain for advanced decision intelligence and offers access to a catalog of hundreds of pre-built, industry-specific AI agents available on the Google Cloud Marketplace, including solutions for sovereign AI data centers.
