The Weeknd's "After Hours Til Dawn" stadium tour has achieved remarkable success, selling over 7.5 million tickets across 153 shows since its launch in 2022. The tour surpassed $1 billion in global gross last year, making it the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist. In 2026 alone, the tour has sold more than 3 million tickets and generated $440 million.
The tour has completed multiple runs in North America, Europe, the UK, and Latin America, and is currently concluding in Asia with 17 shows, expanded from an initial 11 due to high demand. A recent five-night stand at Wembley Stadium in London saw the Weeknd perform for hundreds of thousands of fans, boosting local tourism and hospitality, and raising over $350,000 for charities like the United Nations World Food Programme and Global Citizen. This UK run, including two shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, drew over 450,000 fans.
Despite the tour's massive success and his recent recognition with a Pollstar Award for Best R&B Tour, the artist, Abel Tesfaye, revealed last year his intention to retire his stage name, The Weeknd, suggesting this tour might be his last under that moniker. His managers, Amir "Cash" Esmailian and Wassim "Sal" Slaiby, were also acknowledged as 2026 Pollstar Impact 50 honorees for their significant contributions.
