GameStop has projected its Adjusted EBITDA to be over $600 million for the fiscal year ending January 30, 2027 (fiscal year 2026). This represents a substantial increase from the Adjusted EBITDA of $345.4 million reported for fiscal year 2025. This outlook is based on current expectations regarding consumer demand, supply chain conditions, and operational efficiency.

For fiscal year 2025, GameStop reported net sales of $3.630 billion, a decrease from $3.823 billion in fiscal year 2024. Despite this sales decline, the company achieved an operating income of $232.1 million in fiscal year 2025, a turnaround from an operating loss of $26.2 million in fiscal year 2024. Net income also saw a significant jump to $418.4 million in fiscal year 2025 from $131.3 million in fiscal year 2024.

In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, net sales were $1.104 billion, down from $1.283 billion in the prior year's fourth quarter. However, operating income for the quarter rose to $135.2 million compared to $79.8 million in the previous year. The company's cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities also increased substantially, reaching $9.0 billion at the close of the quarter, up from $4.8 billion a year prior.

Hardware and accessories contributed $1.840 billion to net sales in fiscal year 2025, making up 50.7% of total sales. Software sales were $729.3 million (20.1%), and collectibles sales were $1.060 billion (29.2%). The company's leadership is also focused on the proposed acquisition of eBay, Inc., with additional materials on the transaction expected soon.
