This discussion comes as BOC Aviation reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, with a net profit after tax of $357 million, a 4% increase from the first half of 2025. Total revenues and other income reached $1.3 billion, also up 4% from the prior year period. The company also announced an interim dividend of $0.1799 per share, reflecting a 22% increase compared to the same period last year and an increased distribution guidance of 40% of NPAT.
BOC Aviation's total assets grew by 6% to $27.8 billion, with $2.3 billion invested in capital. The company maintained robust liquidity with $6.0 billion in undrawn committed credit facilities and $319 million in cash and cash equivalents. Its core lease rental contribution hit a record $388 million for the first half of the financial year, with a cash collection rate of 99.2% from airline customers.
