Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd. (HKEX) CEO Bonnie Chan announced on Wednesday that the initial public offering (IPO) pipeline is strong, with approximately 10 international companies preparing to list. She shared this information during an interview with Minmin Low on Bloomberg TV.

This robust pipeline underscores HKEX's continued appeal to global firms seeking to access the market. The exchange has seen a surge in listings this year, with over 100 companies already going public, raising more than $40 billion. This figure has already surpassed the total IPO proceeds for the entirety of 2025, which stood at $37 billion.

Chan further elaborated that the listing pipeline extends beyond the tech sector, encompassing a diverse range of industries such as biotechnology, mining, and consumer companies. This diversification highlights Hong Kong's role as a broad financial hub. Average daily turnover at HKEX has also increased, reaching HK$280 billion this year, up from HK$250 billion last year, indicating strong investor interest and market liquidity.
