Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on such strikes, stating that they represent "long-range sanctions" that reduce resources fueling the Russian war machine. The ongoing campaign of striking Russian energy facilities has reportedly caused widespread fuel shortages, long lines at gas stations, and the introduction of fuel rationing in various regions of Russia. Western analysts suggest these attacks have also hindered Russia's battlefield efforts, increasing pressure on the Kremlin.
