Kim and Bob, a couple from Sioux Falls, transitioned from suburban living to downtown lofts. They initially moved into their first downtown loft over 12 years ago, seeking features like a deck for their Wheaton terrier and underground parking. Their search for a better downtown fit led them to The District Lofts in The Steel District, where they were among the first residents. Kim highlighted the apartment's almost floor-to-ceiling Anderson windows, which provide significant natural light and views of the city skyline, including holiday lights on Phillips Avenue, without excessive outside noise.
The new downtown location offers them a vibrant lifestyle with conveniences like a skywalk connection to Brioux Falls coffee shop for local beans and pastries. They appreciate the security of their building, including secure underground parking. Their current downtown apartment allows them to travel more freely and enjoy a luxurious, amenities-rich environment, including a concierge and responsive property management.
