Man Group reported record assets under management (AUM) of $213.9 billion by September 30, an increase of $20.6 billion from the previous record of $193.3 billion set three months earlier. This figure also represents a substantial rise from $174.9 million a year prior. The growth was bolstered by net inflows of $9.7 billion in the latest period, following $17.6 billion in positive flows during the first half of the year.
Investment performance contributed a gain of $10 million, a notable improvement from the $2.5 billion reported in the first half, which was described as a "particularly volatile" period for financial markets. Robyn Grew, CEO of Man Group, highlighted the company's strong momentum entering the second half of the year, attributing it to exceptional people, cutting-edge technology, and a differentiated investment approach.
In related news, Man Group's first-half core profit had fallen by over 40% to $146 million, down from $257 million in the same period last year, due to a drop in fee income despite the record AUM at the time. The shares of Man Group were up 2.1% at 191.90p by 09:20 BST on October 17, 2025, following the positive AUM update.
