London-based robotics startup Humanoid has achieved unicorn status, raising $152 million in Series A funding at a $1.35 billion valuation. This makes Humanoid Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn. The total capital raised by the company since its founding in 2024 now stands at $270 million.

The Series A funding round was led by Prime Movers Lab and saw participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital, and Aglaé Ventures. This represents the largest Series A funding ever secured by a European humanoid robotics startup. The company plans to use these funds to accelerate the development of a new generation of humanoid robots, expand commercial projects in logistics, manufacturing, and retail, and enhance its proprietary AI platform, KinetIQ.

Humanoid has already secured pre-orders for 34,000 robots, valued at approximately $2.4 billion, and has completed nine industrial implementations with Fortune 500 companies. Key strategic partners include SAP, NVIDIA, Bosch, Siemens, and Schaeffler. A significant partnership with Schaeffler involves deploying thousands of humanoid robots in production facilities, while Bosch has partnered for manufacturing and engineering support.

This development signifies a potential shift in the global robotics landscape, with Europe positioning itself as a major player in advanced industrial robotics, challenging the previous dominance of the United States and China. Humanoid aims to begin installing beta versions of its wheeled robots for clients in the fourth quarter of 2026.
