Will Ferrell is starring in his first television comedy series titled "The Hawk," which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 16, 2026. The series, consisting of 10 episodes, follows the character Lonnie "The Hawk" Hawkins, a legendary golfer who was the world's number one in 2004. Now, in the twilight of his career, Lonnie struggles to rediscover his former glory.
Despite his physical decline, Lonnie is determined to win one more major championship to complete golf's Grand Slam, believing he is just one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history. His quest for a return to the PGA TOUR pulls his entourage into the chaos, including his estranged ex-wife Stacy (Molly Shannon), his pro-golfer son Lance (Jimmy Tatro), Lance's social media influencer fiancée Natalie (Katelyn Tarver), and his new caddie Sam (Fortune Feimster). He also faces old rivals like Golden Fisk (Luke Wilson) and PGA TOUR board member Anton (Chris Parnell).
