Genesis Minerals has announced an unsolicited all-share takeover bid for Vault Minerals, valuing the company at $3.9 billion. This offer comes after Regis Resources and Vault Minerals had already agreed to a $7.7 billion merger. Genesis is offering 0.3542 of its own shares for each Vault share, representing a 20% premium over Regis's offer of $5.15 billion and a 30% premium to Vault's last closing price of A$4.50 (adjusted for the Regis bid).
