Robinhood has introduced crypto perpetual futures in Europe, offering eligible customers up to 3x leverage and continuous exposure to a new class of derivatives. These perpetuals are designed for active traders, aiming to simplify the complexity often associated with such products through an intuitive interface for managing position size and margin. Order routing for these perpetuals is handled through Bitstamp's perpetual futures exchange.

In addition to perpetual futures, Robinhood has launched tokenized US stock and ETF products in Europe. This expansion allows eligible European customers to gain exposure to over 200 US equities and ETFs, benefiting from zero commissions or added spreads from Robinhood (though other fees may apply), dividend support, and 24/5 trading access. This move transforms Robinhood's European app from a crypto-only platform into a comprehensive investment app powered by cryptocurrency infrastructure.

The initial issuance of these stock tokens will be on Arbitrum, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network. Robinhood also revealed plans for its own Layer 2 blockchain, based on Arbitrum, which is currently under development. This proprietary blockchain will be optimized for tokenized real-world assets, aiming to support 24/7 trading, seamless bridging, and self-custody for users. This strategic expansion into tokenized assets and perpetual futures underscores Robinhood's commitment to making investing simpler and more accessible globally.
