The Wall Street Journal issued several corrections and amplifications. One correction noted that analysts now expect Cisco Systems to report sales of $14.52 billion for its fiscal fourth quarter, amending a previous article that incorrectly stated $15.52 billion.
Another correction addressed an error in a U.S. News article regarding a pandemic stimulus bill. The bill included $100 million for intercity bus service in rural areas, not $100,000 as previously reported. Additionally, the U.S. dollar, on January 1, rose 0.13% to 3.941 Polish zlotys, not 29.8% to 5.1084 zlotys, and one zloty bought $0.2537, not $0.1958.
The Journal also corrected the spelling of illustrator Fernando Cobelo's last name, which was Cabelo in a September 23 article. Furthermore, a December 21 Business & Finance article incorrectly stated that GoodwillFinds is the only major nonprofit player in resale, and a chart with a U.S. News article erroneously labeled private residential construction spending in millions of dollars instead of billions.
Other corrections included identifying Randy Parker as the head of Hyundai Motor’s U.S. business, not North American business, and clarifying that a Qatari delegation was in Cairo to discuss how Palestinians could evacuate, rather than trying to convince Cairo to accept them.
