Vinpearl, the leading Vietnamese hospitality, entertainment, and experiences brand, has successfully secured a strategic investment of $255 million. The investment comes from a consortium comprising SeaTown Private Credit Fund III, an investment fund managed by SeaTown Holdings International (a Temasek subsidiary), the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), and the Vietnam-Oman Investment Fund (VOI). This capital injection was facilitated through the issuance of convertible dividend preference shares (CDPS) by Vinpearl, with Jefferies acting as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.

The investment signifies robust international confidence in Vinpearl's long-term growth prospects and the broader Vietnamese tourism and resort industry. SeaTown Holdings anticipates significant growth driven by increasing domestic consumption and a rising number of international visitors. The Vietnam-Oman Investment Fund also views Vinpearl as a strategic investment due to Vietnam's dynamic economy and the company's leading position in the local resort ecosystem, which is expected to benefit directly from overall industry growth.

This funding will provide Vinpearl with crucial resources for its long-term expansion plans, allowing the company to enhance product and service quality to meet international standards and attract diverse customer segments. Vinpearl operates 60 properties across 20 provinces and cities, having been established in 2003. The company aims to strengthen its competitive position regionally and globally, leveraging new growth opportunities in the tourism sector.

Previous reports in March 2026 indicated that Vinpearl was seeking up to $300 million in private debt for refinancing, structured as convertible preferred shares with dividend potential. This successful $255 million deal reflects a positive outcome for Vinpearl amidst a period where private credit markets in the US faced setbacks, with Asia remaining more insulated due to different lending practices.
