Ken Griffin's Hamptons estate, which was formerly owned by Calvin Klein, has been put on the market for $165 million. This 6.8-acre property, located on Meadow Lane in Southampton, includes a modern house designed by Calvin Klein himself, an infinity pool, and extensive ocean frontage.
Griffin, the founder of Citadel, purchased the property in 2020 for $84.4 million. The listing represents a substantial increase in value, more than double what Griffin paid for it. This makes it one of the priciest homes currently available for sale in the United States.
Calvin Klein had originally bought the property in 2003 for just under $30 million. After a gut renovation, he decided to demolish the existing structure and built a new, minimalist residence. The home was not publicly listed when Griffin bought it, with sources at the time suggesting it could have been worth as much as $100 million.
